Oscar Lombardot

French elite biathlete, Oscar joins the Authentic Nutrition ambassador family for this 2023/2024 season.

- Your age: 23 years old

- Your club / team: I am a biathlete at the highest national level

- Your sporting background: I started cross-country skiing when I could walk. When you come from Haut Doubs, and you live 5 minutes from the cross-country ski slopes, in winter, you quickly take up cross-country skiing. Following Vincent Defrasne and Florence Baverel's title at the Turin Olympics in 2006, I dreamed of doing like my idols, biathlon. So I signed up for the Entente Saugettte Sportive de Ski. My story with biathlon and cross-country skiing began at that moment. It was at the club and then in the ski committees that I learned my trade until I reached the highest French level where I am making my way.

- Your favorite playground: The forests and roads of Saugets are the most beautiful places in France to train. Between the hilly courses, the landscapes and the cow fields with our beautiful spruce forests and in winter the kilometers of groomed slopes (when there is snow) are the ideal ingredients to recharge your batteries and not realize how time passes.

- Your best memory: Only one memory is a bit complicated... I hesitate between the times when I was junior world relay champion in Obertillach (AUT) or Soldier Hollow (USA) and this year with my first podium in the World Cup relay. These were all very powerful moments, and we shared them with friends. They were simply unforgettable moments.

- Your ambitions: To date, I aim to make the top 20 in the World Cup this winter, but also and above all to be at the Milan Cortina Olympic Games in 2026.
