Julia Simon's Nutrition Routines and Tips
A loyal ambassador for our brand, Julia Simon reveals her nutrition routine before, during, and after competitions in this video.
Julia Simon is a French athlete specializing in biathlon, born on October 9, 1996 in Albertville, Savoie. Originally from a small Savoyard village, she grew up in the heart of the mountains and developed a passion for winter sports at a very early age. After practicing alpine skiing and then cross-country skiing, she discovered biathlon as a teenager, attracted by the dual physical and mental challenge represented by the combination of precision shooting and high-intensity cross-country skiing. She joined the Saisies Sports Club, a renowned organization for training young talent, and then joined the French junior team, where her promising early performances allowed her to make her World Cup debut in 2015.
Over the years, Julia Simon established herself as one of the most respected names in French biathlon. Thanks to steady progress, she achieved her first international podium finishes and competed in major world competitions. Her tenacity, ability to perform under pressure, and increasing shooting efficiency allowed her to climb the ranks in the overall rankings. In 2023, she had an exceptional season and won the big crystal globe, rewarding the best biathlete of the season in the World Cup — a first in her career and a historic achievement.
Her peak came at the 2025 World Championships in Lenzerheide, where she put in an exceptional performance by winning four gold medals (individual, women's relay, mixed relay, and single mixed relay), bringing her total to ten world titles. She then became the most successful French biathlete in history at the World Championships, a symbolic record that confirmed her place among the great figures of the discipline. Known for her combative temperament, her lucidity in races, and her mental management, Julia Simon is admired by both her teammates and her opponents.
Off the track, she is also committed to the environment. Aware of climate issues and the impact of high-level sport on nature, she campaigns for the protection of biodiversity and is involved in initiatives aimed at raising public awareness of ecology. She also places particular importance on transmission, regularly working with young athletes to share her experience and values.
Julia Simon today embodies a new generation of sportswomen: demanding, ambitious, but also committed and accessible. She represents a source of pride for French sport and a model of inspiration for all young girls who dream of combining passion, performance and awareness.
