Why nutrition, and what studies have you done?

As a teenager, I was led to diet because of sport. The subject of sports dietetics immediately interested me. In high school, one of my best friends suffered from anorexia. This really touched and intrigued me, and I wanted to understand this illness. It was like a trigger for my career path.
So I opted for a DUT in Biology, Dietetics option and then for a degree in food risks.
In addition, in 2018, I followed a one-year training course on eating behavior "Obesity - Overweight". With the main objective of being better equipped to treat eating disorders, eating disorders.

How did you "fall" into sport?

Having always lived at the foot of the mountains, I have always competed: downhill skiing from the age of 4 to 11, cross-country skiing from the age of 11 to 18, then ski mountaineering until the age of 28 (including participation in the Pierra Menta and the Patrouille des Glaciers).
I have also done a lot of high mountaineering (races in Vanoise, ascents of Mont-Blanc, a 6000 in Ecuador, trekking in Nepal, etc.).
Now I mainly practice trail running and cross-country skiing for leisure.

The values ​​of sport are very important to me: surpassing oneself, humility, courage, perseverance, commitment.

What is your role at the FFS?

From 2005 to 2018, I had a contract with the FFS to carry out annual nutritional assessments for athletes. I also led training sessions during internships. It was a wonderful experience that allowed me to work alongside many athletes and also a whole team dedicated to their success: doctors, physiotherapists, mental coaches, etc.

How did you hear about Authentic Nutrition?

The FFS asked me to list the most relevant sports nutrition brands. Authentic Nutrition was in the TOP 5; I really liked its Savoyard origins and its products!

What motivated you to buy this brand?

My priority was to bring the products up to date, to improve their formulas to give the brand a new lease of life! And for that, my experience within the FFS was a real asset.

What matters to me is that the products really correspond to the needs of athletes (in terms of composition, digestion, taste, etc.). The products must be easy to use and appeal to as many people as possible.
Authentic Nutrition offers ethical products, without adding substances harmful to the body, but without neglecting taste!

My intuition paid off since the new formula of the sports drink, Authentic Booster +, placed at the top of Nicolas Aubineau's quality podium at the end of 2019, among 50 energy drinks (read our article on this subject). This allowed the brand to gain visibility and credibility in just a few months!

At the beginning of 2020, you preferred to sell the brand because it was becoming difficult to manage with just the two of you. Authentic Nutrition has thus integrated the GTech company and its brand of walking poles and accessories, Guidetti.

What are your missions now?

I remain the dietician-nutritionist for the Authentic Nutrition brand, I contribute to the development of products and to the brand's life. For example, I am present at trade shows or sporting events such as the Pierra Menta Eté.
At the same time, I have my own consulting practice to stay in touch with the field and people's problems.
